Device Pitstop, a national tech resale franchise, owned by NTY Franchise Company headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota, is celebrating their expansion with a newly opened store in Owensboro, at 2928 Heartland Crossing Suite C. The Owensboro location is the second in Kentucky for the franchise.

“Technology resale is a booming business right now with so many people looking for affordable solutions with their devices,” Brad Swenson, Vice President of Device Pitstop said. “Device Pitstop stores buy and sell gently-used Apple, Windows and Android-based cell phones, computers and tablets – while repairing these same devices, giving customers options beyond buying brand new.”

Owensboro franchise owner Josh Powell has already established himself as a successful Device Pitstop owner, operating one of the most profitable stores in the country in Lexington, Kentucky. Powell is excited to fill his 1,300 square foot store located in the Heartland Crossing Shopping Center with the hottest brands of cell phone, tablet and laptop computers at up to 70 percent off of the retail price, just in time for the holidays.

“December is always a really busy month because people are looking to upgrade their tech or sell their current devices after receiving new ones during the holidays,” Powell said. “We’re excited to bring the same great products and services Device Pitstop offers in Lexington to the people of Owensboro.”
