Gulfstream Commercial Services, LLC has announced Drake’s will officially be coming to Highway 54.
The new restaurant will be built at 3050 Highland Pointe Dr. and will be approximately 5,850 square feet, seating around 200.
Drake’s has over a dozen locations in cities such as Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN. Drake’s, whose parent company is Bluegrass Hospitality Group, LLC, will be located immediately to the south of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in the heart of the Highland Pointe Development and is expected to begin construction within the next month.
“Highland Pointe continues to be a fantastic development with a few select and prominent lots available for future business ventures who desire to be visible, accessible and at the center of the economic buzz in the Highway 54 area,” said Gulfstream Commercial Services Chief Operating Officer Ed Ray. “Drake’s is a fantastic addition to not only our development, but our entire region. We want to welcome Drake’s to Owensboro and wish the entirety of the Bluegrass Hospitality Group, LLC the very best our gem of a community has to offer.”
According to with the Bluegrass Hospitality Group (BHG) marketing team, the food menu will be the same as other Drake’s. The beer menu will be custom to Owensboro and feature local craft beers.
Drake’s is currently accepting applications for managers and will open applications for all positions in the next several months.
