The American Eagle Outfitters located in Towne Square Mall is closing its doors on June 16. According to assistant store manager Jolene Morgan, they hope to be moved into their new store in Gateway Commons, located off Kentucky 54 and open to the public sometime around the second week of July.
“The tentative open date keeps changing, but the middle of July is what we are hoping for,” she said
Although the location information on American Eagle’s website says the Towne Square Mall location is closed, the store is open 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
American Eagle will be located in the strip of retail space that sits near Hayden Road. The store will occupy around 5,500 square feet for its location.
