Another women’s boutique is coming to downtown Owensboro.
Owner Amy Foertsch said Rayelle Collection will carry clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and gifts. The Owensboro store at 120A West 2nd St. will be the second location, with the first being in Santa Claus, Ind.
“Whenever I opened in Santa Claus I had wanted to open down here but there was nowhere to open,” she said. “I have always loved downtown Owensboro and have been looking for a space for a while.”
Foertsch said she follows Bella Ragazza on Facebook and Instagram and when owner Natasha Stanley posted that Bella Regazza would be moving, she jumped into research mode to find out who owned the building.
“I reached out to the owners and the rest is history,” she said. “I am so excited to be opening downtown. I have always longed for the feel of downtown as well a sense of being a community. Owensboro does this so well.”
Foertsch said her family has been going to church in Owensboro and belonging to the community made her want to open a store in the area.
The target opening date is Oct. 4.
“The hard work is mostly done,” she said. “Now it’s just getting things out, tagged and hung.”
She said the store will allow her to grow as a business.
“I also love meeting people and building relationships and feel that this location is key for that,” she said.
