CYO Brewing will soon offer the first commercially brewed beer in Owensboro since before Prohibition.
On social media Friday, the downtown bar announced they have officially received a federal brewery license and expect to receive their state and local license within the next 30 days.
“This announcement has been a long time coming and we are really excited for the changes the next month will bring,” the post said. “We do have all of our equipment in place and setup so we expect to have our beers on tap immediately after receiving our final license.”
CYO Brewing opened in March 2015 at 119 E 2nd St.
