A new Halloween store is opening soon in downtown Owensboro. Ghostly Productions will be located at 203 W. 4th Street and will be having its grand opening on Sept. 5.
Owner Payton Ford said they will be doing giveaways all day, followed by a Broomsticks and Paint event in the evening.
“I have always loved Halloween and began making my own masks, props, and artwork,” he said. “After graduating from college, I decided I wanted to make my work more than just a hobby.”
He said Ghostly Productions is different from any other Halloween Store or large-scale corporation.
“We offer retail items made by the leading manufacturers in the industry, but we specialize in custom creations,” Ford said. “We take pride in capturing a nostalgic vintage Halloween atmosphere. When you step into our store we want you to have the experience of stepping into a time machine to take you back to when Halloween was special.”
