The owners of 270 Power Yoga announced via social media Wednesday night they would be closing the physical studio by the end of the year, though they will continue to have virtual classes and workshops.

The studio is located at 3333 Frederica St.

The announcement on the organization’s Facebook Page reads as follows:

One thing we’ve gotten really clear on during this pandemic is doing the right thing is not always easy. Since March, we have tirelessly worked to keep the doors to 270 Power Yoga open. It is with a heavy heart to announce the physical studio is closing by December 31, 2020. This difficult decision, to close the brick and mortar studio, was not made lightly – much thought, prayer, and energy went into it. Our hearts are broken AND we acknowledge your support and contribution to 270 Power Yoga.

Although the doors are closing, 270 Power Yoga is still open! We will continue to lead virtual yoga classes, workshops and more. In fact, we are now freed up to focus on other ways we can serve you. The possibilities are endless! Please know that we are still – and always will be – committed to operate from our core values of community, connection, and empowerment.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions or have suggestions on what you would like to see on the schedule. We love you and look forward to being with you soon, virtually (for now).

Thank you for supporting our studio. We are eternally grateful to you.
Namaste,
Rebecca and Liz
