According to a Facebook post by In the Groove, the company will continue to offer products at Preservation Station Market and Event Center and Sweet T’s Relic Recovery, as well as at shopinthegroove.com. They may also offer have tables at craft shows.

In the Groove has been serving Owensboro online and in a various local retail locations since 2014. With the success of their online business, they opened the storefront in late 2018.

The full announcement reads as follows:

It is crazy to think October, 2018 we posted this picture on the Downtown Shop that we were about to open. We have been here almost 2.5 years and we have gotten to know so many of you, near and far. We have laughed, cried, bled, and lost sleep over this location. But, here we are, at the close of another successful Holiday season, all because of y’all, and it is time to close our doors downtown.

Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean that we are going away! We will still have our timeless gifts, handwritten recipe boards, and interchangeable signs (along with the other 349 products we offer) available at Preservation Station Market and Event Center and Sweet T’s Relic Recovery, and our full line online 24/7 at shopinthegroove.com

We will always be in and out of both of the locations, and you will probably see us at a craft show here and there. Our favorite part of doing what we do best, is getting to meet you all and create some truly amazing projects.

Christmas Eve morning will be the last time that In The Groove’s doors will be open downtown. So come see us over the next week and say hello and grab that last gift to finish up your list.

Until we see you again…
