Brad Davis has been hired as the Vice President of Business Development for the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation, while Madison Krampe has taken on the role as Executive Assistant.

Davis, a native of Daviess County, recently served as the Vice President of Operations of the Murray-Calloway Economic Development Corporation. He has been involved in all aspects of the economic development process, including working with prospects, developing product, and managing projects.

Prior to working in Murray, Davis spent 28 years at the Purchase Area Development District as the Director of Community and Economic Development. At the ADD, he worked with local economic development groups, elected officials, chambers of commerce, and state and federal funding agencies.

Krampe, a native of Henderson County, graduated from Murray State University in 2020, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication and Mass Communications.

“We are very excited to have Brad and Madison join the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation team,” said Mark Martin, Chairman of GOEDC. “They will bring a skillset that compliments and enhances an already very good team. As GOEDC moves forward, the future is bright as we continue to emphasize the strategic plan initiatives.”

Brittaney Johnson, President/CEO of GOEDC, said Davis will be primarily responsible for building and launching their entrepreneurship efforts and reactivating the Emerging Ventures Seed Fund.

“I am very excited about returning to Owensboro and working with Brittaney and the great team she’s assembled at GOEDC,” Davis said. “I am confident we can strengthen the entrepreneurial program and improve business development in the community. I look forward to this position and am honored to be a small part of the continued growth in Owensboro and Daviess County.”

Johnson said Krampe is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization.

“I am fortunate to have the opportunity to start my career with an organization such as the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation,” Krampe said. “I am learning a great amount about economic development from some of the best, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the future growth and success of the Greater Owensboro region.”

GOEDC is the economic development agency for Owensboro and Daviess County. It is a public-private partnership formed to attract and to grow primary employers.
