Kyle Aud has been named the Owensboro Market President for German American Bank. Aud is a familiar face in Owensboro and has more than 17 years in the banking industry.

“I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and joining such a well-run community bank,” Aud said. “German American has a great reputation for being involved in their communities and has shown their support by giving back through their time, talent, and treasures. This reputation is what drew me here and I’m looking forward to seeing what I can add to the already strong commercial teams in Owensboro and surrounding communities.”

In his role, Aud will lead the company’s financial services team which offers commercial and personal banking, insurance, investments and wealth advisory services in the Owensboro-area and surrounding counties.

Aud replaces Amy Jackson, who has been promoted to lead corporate-level initiatives as the Senior Vice President – Administrative Development and Strategic Planning.

Michael Beckwith, Kentucky Division President, said Aud’s appointment as Market President “solidifies an already strong and dedicated team of local professionals” serving Owensboro and the surrounding communities.

“Kyle’s years of experience and leadership in the market will continue to drive the delivery of German American’s innovative financial solutions to its customers with a focus on client relationships, local decision making, and a strong commitment to community,” Beckwith said.

Aud most recently worked as the Vice President of Sterett Companies, LLC. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, the LSU Graduate School of Banking, Leadership Owensboro and Leadership Kentucky.

Aud has served many local organizations in leadership roles including the Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club, the Owensboro-Daviess County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation, and more.
