After years of serving as the facilities services coordinator at Western Kentucky University-Owensboro, Drew Wedding has launched an independently owned and operated commercial cleaning franchise.
The business — named Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Owensboro-Rockport — will service areas that include Daviess, McLean, Hancock and Ohio counties in Kentucky, as well as Spencer and Perry counties in Indiana.
The franchise provides a full range of routine janitorial and commercial cleaning services to banks, medical offices, churches, office spaces and other commercial facilities.
The business also offers specialty services such as floor cleaning and restoration, sanitization, disinfection and electrostatic spray treatment, which is effective in disinfecting common areas, personal spaces and corners.
As the facilities services coordinator at WKU-Owensboro, Wedding was responsible for all cleaning, maintenance and construction projects on campus.
“I took a lot of pride in how the campus looked in Owensboro and got compliments on it all the time,” he said. “That’s what I want to provide for our customers – that initial wow factor when people walk into their facility. I want to help my customers make a great first impression on their own customers.”
