Danos Cigar Lounge

Danos Cigar Lounge owners say the business promises to be a premier cigar lounge available for the aficionado and the new smoker alike.

The new lounge, owned by father-daughter duo Steve and Stevi Lambert, opened earlier this month at 3830 KY 54 Suite 201. The Lamberts said they neither pictured themselves opening a business together, however they’ve enjoyed their venture.

Inspired by the story of Steve’s grandfather migrating to America from Cuba, the two came together for a Cuban-inspired lounge.

“We don’t have anything like this in town — I mean years and years and years ago maybe there was a cigar lounge at Executive Inn, I believe,” Stevi said.

Inside the lounge is a walk-in humidor to store more than 200 different types of cigars — including Prodromal, Rocky Patel, Acid, and several others. The average price per cigar is $8 to $12, however they do carry some that are higher priced.

Along with the cigars, Danos also sells pipe tobacco and has a full bar. They plan to serve Cuban food once they are able to find a chef.

“If you’re a cigar aficionado, you’re gonna really like this place,” Steve said.
