The Thompson Benefits and Enrollment Group has grown exponentially in recent years, tailoring their coverage to the needs of small businesses, individuals, and corporations alike. Owner Chad Thompson has been in the insurance industry for more than 10 years and takes pride in offering services at an affordable cost.

Thompson said the number one reason small businesses offer minimal benefits is that they can’t afford it. By partnering with other insurance industry experts in every line of coverage, the group strives to create packages that don’t require a contribution from employers.

“Our niche is that we have health and a full benefits package for businesses with less than 50 employees, and we don’t require the employer to pay anything,” Thompson said. “We allow many businesses to offer benefits for the first time.”

In today’s market, where employers struggle to recruit and retain employees, Thompson and team want to create employee packages that help small businesses “attract and retain quality employees.”

“We believe that settling on an excellent benefits package doesn’t need to be complicated,” he said. “Working with Thompson Benefits simplifies the process and lets you get back to what’s important — your business.”

The group offers the following insurance services: medical (individual or group), dental, vision, short term and long term disability, air and ground ambulance coverage, TeleDoc, life, long-term care, business owner and executive coverage, key employee insurance, buy/sell agreement, accident/cancer/critical illness, pet, and identity theft production.

“Our team brings years of experience and industry expertise to the table and is readily available every step of the way,” Thompson said. “In addition to customizing our offerings to fit your company’s unique needs, we’re able to educate your members in a way that’s easily digestible.”

Thompson said that he and his team of experts are available to help during every step of the enrollment process. They service businesses and individuals from all across the tri-state area.

Thompson is an Owensboro native and takes pride in serving the community that has provided him with many blessings. He is a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and Western Kentucky University and loves that he and his wife can raise their three children in Owensboro.

“I love Owensboro, and I moved back and wanted to raise a family here,” he said. “It’s one of the best places in Kentucky to raise a family. I consider myself privileged to be a part of this community growing up. It’s rewarding to be able to give back to small businesses that comprise our great community.”
