Battery Headquarters will open their second location — Battery Headquarters South — on South Frederica Street in the old Batteries Plus location.
With the new location on Frederica Street in the same shopping center as Penn Station and Sun Tan City, Battery Headquarters can enhance its retail operation. They will continue to specialize in small batteries, custom battery packs, golf cart and ATV accessories, and a full line of Interstate products.
“We are a third-generation, family-owned and operated business,” said owner Bryan Bigger. “We’re much more than a battery store. We have the knowledge and ‘know-how’ to make sure you get the right product for the right application.”
Bigger said the new location would likely open by the middle of the month, once they can “make it their own.” The Frederica store marks the third Battery Headquarters location.
“We opened a store in Madisonville exactly one year ago, and we’ve had success there,” he said. “We’re always looking to expand and evolve. We also service golf carts, ATVs, and other recreational vehicles.”
Battery Headquarters opened in 1972 on Breckenridge Street and has remained a staple in the community since its inception. They boast more than 45 years of battery experience and take pride in being “a complete battery stop for all your energy needs.”
