Limestone Bank has finalized the relocation of their branch on the east side of Owensboro. The new building is located at 3250 Hayden Road, just off KY 54 in the Gateway Commons area.

“Our ultimate goal was to deliver the bank to this community in a more efficient way. Our location here along with our team is going to help us do that,” said Robert Whitaker, Daviess County Market President. “We chose Gateway Commons for the anticipated traffic with the new school coming in and all the retail that’s here. We wanted customers to be able to reach our banking center easier.”

The east Owensboro branch was previously located at 3332 Villa Point. The bank also maintains a branch at 3500 Frederica Street.

The new full-service banking center, which officially opened earlier this month, is complete with a large limestone lobby, conference room, five private offices, drive-thru services including ATM and night drop. Curbside banking services which will be made available soon.

Limestone offers a range of commercial banking products and services for the small- to medium-size business segment, as well as a broad range of consumer banking services.

“We’re simple in what we do, we just do it effectively and very well,” Whitaker said. “We’re a community bank with a big back room.”

Noting there are plenty of banks in Owensboro-Daviess County, Whitaker said Limestone tries to be different.

“We are a community bank, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, and we deliver the bank in three simple ways,” he said. “We want to offer a safe and efficient way for you to deposit and transfer money; loans for commercial and consumer; and to deliver a return for our shareholders. We do that as a team with honesty and integrity, and we have fun doing it.”

Lobby hours are Monday–Thursday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; ATM and night drop services are available 24/7.

Limestone’s move to Owensboro came in 2019, when its parent company acquired the Republic Bank branch banking centers located in Owensboro as well as Elizabethtown, Frankfort, and Owensboro.
