30-year-old John Allen, an Owensboro native and entrepreneur.
Allen took his passion for helping people and turned it into an established moving company, Big John’s Moving, in August 2022.
Big John’s Moving specializes in both local and out-of-state moves, catering to residential and corporate clients alike.
“We’re open 24-7/365,” Allen said. “We work holidays as well if needed. We will move anything, whether it’s one piece or a whole 10-story business.”
Allen said his company is fully licensed and insured.
“I’m able to go nationwide,” he said. “I own two trucks and I’m able to rent more if the moves are bigger than what my two trucks can handle. I have 4-5 employees that work with me.”
He does not offer packing, only moving.
