Kingdom Cords, a modern-day haberdashery, is actively seeking a location in Owensboro.
Owners Noal and Jamie Floyd said they have proposals submitted and are currently in negotiations for a potential undisclosed location.
“Our plan is to be open by February 2024 just in time for the prom season and summer wedding season,” Noal said.
Kingdom Cords is a privately owned men’s clothing store, with their flagship location in Greenville.
“We saw a need for our type of service in Owensboro,” Noal said. “Currently 10-15% of our monthly sales are from Owensboro. “
Noal said customers can expect the store to stock brands such as Silver Jean Company, Burlebo, Old South, FX Fusion, Hooey, Devil-Dog Dungarees, Southern Marsh Collection, Local Boy, Honey Hole, Lane Frost, Brown Dog Hosiery, Stacy Adams, and more.
“We will have 1000-plus suits and sport coats on hand at all times,” he said “We will also have a large selection of big and tall clothing. We cater to men’s clothing needs including casual, formal, and everything in between. You will also find accessories, boys’ clothing, and a small sampling of women’s styles in the store.”
Noal said at Kingdom Cords, they strive to provide top-notch customer service to ensure everyone’s style needs are met in an effective and pleasant manner.
They are currently seeking one full-time manager, two to three part-time staff, and one or two seamstresses with experience of suit alterations.
