Now that all five Blue Angels jets have arrived, Owensboro Times thought it would be fun to go behind the scenes and get up close and personal with a Blue Angel pilot. Owensboro Times interviewed U.S. Navy Cmdr. Eric Doyle Thursday morning using questions submitted from our readers. Cmdr. Doyle answered questions about communication in the air, if he still found excitement in flying a Blue Angel F-18 and he gave his opinion on commercial flying now. Cmdr. Doyle was candid about his beliefs in teamwork and the pride he takes in flying one of the most prestigious and recognizable aircrafts in the world.
