The Owensboro Police Department needs help searching for a juvenile described as an “endangered runaway.” The teen may have voluntarily left home for a variety of reasons.
According to OPD, Alyx Girtz, 17, was last seen leaving Heritage Park High School in Owensboro at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 21.
Girtz is described as 5’2″, weighing 116 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
According to the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, an endangered runaway is a child who is away from home without the permission of his or her parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
