The Daviess County Republican Party will hold a ribbon-cutting event for their headquarters at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at 227 Saint Ann St.
Following the ribbon-cutting, there will be a Meet and Greet event at 5:30 p.m. at Reid’s Orchard.
Speakers will include Congressman Brett Guthrie, State Senator Joe Bowen, State Representative Suzanne Miles, State Representative DJ Johnson, State Representative and State Senate Candidate Matt Castlen, State Representative Jim Gooch, Judge-Executive Al Mattingly, Mayor Tom Watson, County Commissioner George Wathen, County Commissioner Charles Castlen, Jailor Art Maglinger. Candidates will include Scott Lewis, Jimmie Sapp, and other conservative City and County candidates.
This is a free family-friendly event. The playground will be open and hot dogs, hamburgers and caramel apple sundaes will be served while they last.
