Dr. John Murray Adams voted Tuesday for the first time since becoming a U.S. Citizen.
“I am so privileged to live in a country with freedom and a democracy that allows me to choose whom I would like to represent my city and state,” Adams said about the general election.
Adams said he felt even more American being able to cast his first vote as an American citizen.
“Not only is it my right but it is my responsibility to vote,” Adams said. “Men and women from all over this country have sacrificed their time and even their lives for our democracy.”
