This will be Mike Koger’s second four-year term as East Daviess County Commissioner.

Now that he has been re-elected, Koger said he will work on pensions, paying off the County’s part of the Convention Center loan, working on economic development recruitment of more higher-paying jobs, maintaining a sound budget and not raising property taxes.

“In the last four years as East Daviess County Commissioner, I have put forth all of my efforts to do what was right for all citizens of Daviess County,” Koger said. “We have the best Daviess County Fiscal Court to work together for the people.”

Koger watched the results with his family and friends at his daughter’s house this evening.

“I want to thank my family, friends, and all of my supporters for working tireless hours in helping me win this race. Thank you Owensboro, Daviess County, Whitesville and Knottsville,” Koger said. “I will continue to serve the people the best that I can.”
