According to Daviess County Fire and Rescue, KY 54 is blocked near Country Heights Elementary School between Owensboro and Philpot in Daviess County due to a 5-vehicle crash.
This is in the 4900 Block of KY 54/Leitchfield Road between KY 142 and KY 1456.
One of the vehicles was hauling gravel which has spilled along the roadway, and all lanes are blocked at this time.
The estimated duration is two hours, and traffic is being detoured via side streets at this time.
