UPDATE:
The site has been CLEARED and the roadway is OPEN.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, there is a report of a head-on collision on the US 60 Green River “Spottsville” Bridge between Henderson and Owensboro.
The bridge is blocked at this time and estimated to remain closed for the next two hours.
The best available detour for travel is via the Audubon Parkway.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
