According to the National Weather Service out of Paducah, a weak weather disturbance will bring a brief period of light snow to much of western Kentucky and adjacent portions of southwest Indiana, southern Illinois, and southeast Missouri late this evening into the overnight hours.
Any accumulation will be on the light side. However, with temperatures below freezing, patchy
slick spots may develop on area roadways.
Expect a light accumulation on bridges and overpasses and grassy surfaces as well.
Most of the snow will push east of the area by 1 or 2 a.m.
