According to the National Weather Service out of Paducah, as wind advisories continue through tomorrow — with gusts up to 24 mph — the temperatures will continue to drop.

Wednesday through Monday will bring a mixed wintry precipitation — mainly rain and snow — to all or part of the area from late Friday through Saturday night or early Sunday.

According to NWS, it is too early to pinpoint specific accumulation amounts or impacts. Precipitation should end by Sunday morning and dry and seasonable conditions are expected moving into next week.

River flooding continues at some locations across the region as well.
