Sts. Joseph and Paul to present Lenten music concerts

Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church will be presenting a series of Lenten music concerts during the 40-day season of lent that begins Wed., March 6 and ends Thursday, April 18. All concerts will be in the sanctuary.

“It is just a time for people to unplug, meditate and center ourselves on God’s love,” said Denise Whittington, director of music at the church.

Whittington will perform each concert and will play an organ meditation following the reading of the Stations of the Cross.

Concert dates and times:

Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m.: Organ concert

Tuesday, March 12 at 11 a.m.: Organ concert

Wednesday, March 27 at 12 p.m.: Stations of the Cross

Wednesday, March 27 at 12:30 p.m.: Piano concert

Friday, March 29 at 6:15 p.m.: Bilingual presentation of the Stations of the Cross

Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m.: Piano Concert

Friday, April 12 at 6:15 p.m.: Bilingual Stations of the Cross

Each concert will last about 50 minutes.

Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church is located at 609 E. 4th Street.
