On social media Monday evening, Owensboro Parks and Recreation announced it will install a new playground at Chautauqua Park to be ready for the public by May 20. That opening date depends on the weather, but City workers have already removed the existing playground.
Owensboro Park and Recreation chose Miracle of KY & TN to supply the equipment. This is the same company that provided Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro.
