The American Queen is currently docked at English Park until 5 p.m. Thursday. About 400 people were on the boat traveling from Louisville to St. Louis as a part of a nine-day cruise.
While the boat is docked in Owensboro it gives local residents a chance to take a look at history. It also gives those on board the chance to explore Owensboro.
The boat has 222 staterooms for a capacity of 436 guests and a crew of 160. She is 418 feet long and 89 feet wide.
