Kentucky State Police troopers charged a Fordsville man after allegations he had a sexual relationship with a minor. Seth R. Stiff, 37, of Fordsville, was arrested by troopers Tuesday and charged with multiple felonies.

On April 24, 2019, KSP launched an investigation in Stiff after allegations were made suggesting he had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a juvenile.

KSP presented the investigation to the Ohio County Grand Jury who ultimately issued the indictment warrants. KSP arrested Stiff and he was booked into the Ohio County Detention Center.

He was charged with first-degree rape and sodomy of a victim under 12 years old, two counts of incest and four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree with a victim under 12 years old.

Abigail Barnes, attorney for Stiff, says her client is innocent of all charges.

“These allegations come in the midst of a highly contested divorce/custody case and he is being falsely accused,” she said. “I fully expect him to be exonerated in the court of law”
