Rain or shine, the 10th Annual Car, Truck and Jeep Show at Kentucky Wesleyan College is set to go on Saturday, although there will be some differences for this year’s event.

The free event will take place at 3000 Frederica St, and attendees will enter from Scherm Road.

Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and is open to cars, trucks and unique vehicles of all years and models. An awards presentation will begin around 3 p.m.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, full concessions, music, door prizes and more for those who attend.

Officials are taking steps to ensure a safe experience for all and have posted a list of changes and guidelines here. No indoor space will be needed for the event.

Different from past years, KWC and its volunteers will not be preparing and offering a food service. All food the participants and spectators purchase will be via vendor’s food trucks.

All volunteers will have face coverings on if within 6 feet of any other volunteer, participant, or visitor.

Signage will be used to help with social distancing, and patrons are expected to follow all guidelines.

Nighthawk Security will be covering the event so that there will be coverage specifically to enforce that participants and the general public follow the above guidelines.
