Owensboro Parks and Recreation has announced that shelter reservations are now available for the 2021 season.
Shelters will be available daily from April 1 – Oct. 31 during the hours of 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The following shelters can be reserved:
- Legion Park – 2 Screened
- Cap Gardner Park – 1 Gazebo
- English Park – 1 Open Air
- Old Germantown Park – 1 Gazebo
- Moreland Park – 1 Screened
- Ben Hawes Park – 3 Open Air
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and can be reserved for up to 4 hours for $35, plus tax. Each additional hour is an extra $10, plus tax. With exception, Ben Hawes Park shelters are a flat fee of $60, plus tax.
Reservation can be made by calling 270-687-8700 or in person at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center located at 1530 McJohnson Ave. from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
