The Anderson Christmas Trees lot is open for the 2021 season. The family-owned business is again ready to provide hundreds of real, fresh trees for the Owensboro community.

The operation, which has served the area for 61 years now, is located in the front parking lot of Wesleyan Park Plaza off Frederica Street. Richard Anderson started the business in 1960, and it is now run by his sons Kurt and Keith Anderson with help from Kenny Conder.

They are typically open from about 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily through the week, and “until they quit selling trees” on weekends. Only personal checks and cash are accepted.

Tree varieties include Fraser Fir, Scots Pine, Concolor Fir, Blue Spruce, and Vetch Balsam. Sizes vary from 6-15 feet depending on the tree type. All of the trees are grown in northern Michigan. Prices vary by tree type and size.

Customers can also get custom wreaths made fresh from trimmings at the lot.
