Wendell Foster Half Marathon Route

Several main roadways in Owensboro will be temporarily closed Saturday morning for the Wendell Foster Half Marathon. Cones are already being placed along many portions of the course.

Delays can be expected from 7-11:30 a.m. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, avoid areas along the race course, allow for extra driving time and proceed with caution on streets near the race course.

The 13.1-mile race will be fully supported including some full and partial road closures.

Major streets impacted will be J.R. Miller Boulevard, Ford Avenue, Griffith Avenue, Lewis Lane, and Locust Street, among others. Portions of the course will remain open to traffic.
