City, County spray parks open May 28; Combest Pool also opens that day

Spray parks across Owensboro and Daviess County will open for the 2022 season on May 28, and all are free to the public.

The City of Owensboro operates spray parks at Legion Park, Kendall-Perkins Park, and Smothers Park. All locations will be open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., weather permitting. Groups of 10 or more should contact Owensboro Parks and Recreation prior to visiting. For questions, contact the City parks office at 270-687-8700.

Daviess County operates spray parks at Horse Fork Creek Park, Yellow Creek Park, and Panther Creek Park. All locations will be open daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. For questions, contact the County parks office at 270-685-6142.

Combest Pool will also open on May 28 and is $4 per person. Hours are Monday–Friday from 12-4:30 p.m, Saturday from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m, and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
