The Tamarack Elementary School carnival is back and will take place Thursday-Saturday from May 5-7. The first night will feature dollar rides, Friday includes a chili supper, and the whole weekend will feature several other activities.

The carnival will be held at the school, located at 1733 Tamarack Road.

The carnival begins when rides open at 4 p.m. Thursday. All rides are only $1 each on this day only.

The carnival continues with a chili supper and rides from 4-10 p.m. Friday.

Bargain bracelets are available for $20 and allow the wearer to ride as many rides as they wish from 4-10 p.m. Friday; from 12-5 p.m. Saturday; or from 5-10 p.m. Saturday.

In addition to rides, the carnival will feature a variety of games, including a cake walk, fish pond and balloon pop.

“The Tamarack Carnival is making its much-anticipated return for the first time since May 2019,” said TES principal Carrie Munsey. “The school staff is preparing for this event with so much enthusiasm. This community tradition is always a big hit as the three-day event welcomes thousands of Daviess County residents, current and former Tamarack students and visitors from all over. Come one, come all.”

A portion of proceeds from this year’s event will go toward playground improvements and upgrades.
