A candlelight vigil for survivors of suicide is being held Saturday at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition Stacey Connor said the vigil will be a time for prayer, music and to listen to testimonies about the journey of healing.

Held annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is for those who have lost someone to suicide.

Local meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month 6 p.m. at New Beginnings, 1716 Scherm Road.
