Amber Dennis and Meredith McCrady, co-founders of Elevate Insurance Agency, are hosting a free financial empowerment event for women this Thursday.
“A cornerstone of our insurance agency is to educate our clients to allow them to choose the best coverage options for their needs,” McCrady said. “It became clear to us that oftentimes many women are unaware of all of the assets they have to their names and how best to protect them with insurance coverage. In speaking with other female business professionals in our community, this issue was a similar theme no matter the industry.”
Anyone who attends will be learning from insurance agents, mortgage loan originators, a retirement and financial planner, a marketing account executive from a title company, an auto loan finance manager, and a real estate agent.
McCrady said attendees will gain contacts and touchpoints for their financial stake within their families.
Other speakers include Chelsea Morris and Blake Templeton, mortgage loan originators from German American Bank; Mallory Sacre, marketing account executive from Regional Land Title Company; Emma Goetz, a retirement and financial planner from Retirement and Financial Strategies and Shelby Payne, a real estate agent with the Daugherty-Phelps Team at the Blake Hayden Group.
“We would encourage anyone who seeks more financial knowledge and how best to protect and promote their assets come attend Women and the Money,” McCrady said.
The event is at The Party Space Place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. There will be having food, beverages, and raffle prizes. Angel Welsh from My Sister’s Keeper will be the emcee.
