Do you take pride in your lawn or landscaping? Starting May 1, city residents can enter to win the second annual “Owensboro’s Nicest Lawn in the Neighborhood” contest. One winner will be chosen from each of the 12 Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances, then a public vote will be held to determine the winner, which receives a $500 gift card.
Anyone who believes their yard is worthy of the title can visit owensboro.org from May 1-15 and click on the contest page to submit their nomination and photos. The entry period is from May 16 through June 6. To be eligible, residents must live within the city limits of Owensboro and shall be 18 years or older.
Public voting for the finalists will take place from May 29-June 5, and a winner will be announced June 12. Each of the 12 finalists will receive a $100 gift card to Integrity Nursery & Outdoor Living, and the grand prize winner will receive a $500 gift card.
To be eligible, residents must live within the city limits of Owensboro and be 18 years or older.
