City, County spray parks now open May 28; Combest Pool also open

Spray parks across Owensboro and Daviess County are open for the 2023 season, and all are free to the public.

The City of Owensboro operates spray parks at Legion Park, Kendall-Perkins Park, and Smothers Park. All locations will be open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., weather permitting. Groups of 10 or more should contact Owensboro Parks and Recreation prior to visiting. For questions, contact the City parks office at 270-687-8700.

Daviess County operates spray parks at Horse Fork Creek Park, Yellow Creek Park, and Panther Creek Park. All locations will be open daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. For questions, contact the County parks office at 270-685-6142.

Combest Pool is also now open and admittance is $5 per person, though children 2 and under are admitted free. Hours are Monday–Saturday from 12-4:30 p.m and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
