DCHS Dance Team, 1st in Hip-Hop, 2nd in Pom

The Daviess County High School Dance Team competed at Regionals Saturday taking first place in the Hip-Hop division and second in Pom. The dance team will be headed to Nationals in Orlando this February and has been looking for unique opportunities to fundraise.

The team will be having a Christmas “Night Off “for parents this Friday night, Nov. 23 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. in the DCHS Auxillary Gym. This is not a dance-related event, but an opportunity for the dance team to spend time with and entertain children while parents have a much-deserved break.

Children ages 3 to 12 are welcome to attend, as long as they are potty-trained.

Activities included in the evening are crafts, games, face painting, bounce house, a picture with Santa and a Christmas movie complete with popcorn and hot chocolate.

The cost for this fundraiser is $25 for the first child, $15 for each sibling.

Space is limited so please pre-register your child online as soon as possible.
