KDE to hear comments on proposed graduation requirements

The Kentucky Department of Education will be accepting comments on proposed changes to the state’s high school graduation requirements through Friday, Nov. 30.

A public hearing on the proposed administrative regulations is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. ET in the State Board Room, 5th Floor, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, Kentucky. The hearing is open to the public.

Individuals interested in speaking at the hearing must notify KDE in writing at least five (5) working days prior to the hearing. If no notification of intent to attend the hearing is received by KDE by that date, the hearing may be cancelled.

Those not wishing to speak at the hearing or unable to attend the hearing can submit written comments on the proposed administrative regulation. Written comments will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 30.
