The Kentucky Wesleyan College online bachelor’s degree program has earned the top ranking for a private institution in Kentucky by U.S. News & World Report for 2019. The superior recognition is based on these factors:

· Services and technologies (25 percent)
· Faculty credentials and training (20 percent)
· Expert opinion (20 percent)

The vast majority of students enrolled in these ranked programs have earned at least some college credit. Rather than first-time college students, they are more likely to be working professionals in their 20s to 40s who are seeking career advancement or a career change.
U.S. News chose measurements for comparison that weigh how online programs are delivered and their effectiveness in awarding affordable degrees in a reasonable amount of time.
