As new properties are acquired and new businesses are brought to Daviess County, there is one potential property that has left the community questioning for more than a year.

Thursday afternoon, Feb. 21 at the Daviess County School Board meeting, school board members will consider the approval of a real estate purchase agreement to acquire 42.984 acres of real property as the site of the new middle school.

This discussion comes just shy of one year since the current DCMS property at 1415 E. Fourth St. was sold to Owensboro Grain for a reported $1.4 million.
