The Daviess County Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 11:45 a.m. Monday in the auditorium at Daviess County High School. The meeting will include consideration of a DCPS Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year.

Those attending are asked to park in the back of the school (Southeastern Parkway entrance), as the Summer Feeding Program will be serving meals in front of DCHS.

All guests must wear a mask when entering the building and throughout the duration of the meeting. Temperature checks are also required upon entry to the building.

All guests and those who wish to speak will be required to sign in. Speakers are limited to five minutes each per Board Policy 01.421 AP.1.

Those attending should arrive in time to complete entrance procedures before the meeting begins at 11:45 a.m. Questions and comments may also be submitted in advance to [email protected]

At its Thursday meeting, the Board of Education approved a revised meeting schedule. Starting in August and continuing through the end of December, regular meetings of the Board of Education will take place at Daviess County High School in order to allow members of the public and media to attend while observing health and safety guidelines.

All luncheon meetings during this time will take place at the DCPS Central Office instead of at various school locations. The schedule will be evaluated again at the end of December in regard to the status of the COVID-19 status.
