Kenergy is now offering free WiFi hotspots for school districts in its service territory in an effort to assists students and educators without reliable internet.

WiFi portal locations have been set up at the Henderson, Owensboro, and Marion office locations. The Owensboro office is located at 3111 Fairview Drive.

The WiFi can be accessed every day from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. The portals are password protected so only area students have access to them.

Signs are posted for parking to show where the best connectivity locations are.

“Kenergy recognizes that this year has been especially tough for students, teachers, and administrators in our service territory,” Kenergy President and CEO Jeff Hohn said. “Virtual learning has posed its own challenges, especially for those that don’t have access to reliable internet. We want to help. … We saw a need in the communities we serve and wanted to provide a solution to help alleviate that stress.”
