Owensboro Community & Technical College is celebrating summer and fall 2021 graduates with an alternative walk-through ceremony Thursday. The college is set to award 1,142 credentials to 389 graduates.
The walk-through event is scheduled for Blandford Lecture Hall on OCTC’s Main Campus (4800 New Hartford Road), where graduates have reserved times in advance. Students can attend with their families and receive a diploma cover, a photo with the president, and a photo with their family. OCTC will share the digital pictures with the students on social media.
“We are thrilled that so many students have signed up for these events,” said OCTC president Dr. Scott Williams. “We are excited to be able to offer this alternative option to our graduates.”
