In anticipation of bad weather, local schools will be closed to in-person learning on Thursday. Owensboro Public Schools will be using a non-traditional instruction day, while Daviess County Public Schools and Owensboro Catholic Schools will be using a traditional snow day (meaning no instruction).

OPS
For information about what is expected of your child on an NTI day, see the expectations on the OPS website here. There will not have to be a make-up day later in the school year.

DCPS
DCPS schools will be closed entirely as the district is using a snow day. The make-up day will be Feb. 21. Refer to the DCPS website for the official school calendar, including all make-up days.

OCS
OCS schools are also using a traditional snow day for teachers and students, so there will be no NTI.
