No in-person school on January 31: OPS, DCPS using NTI day; OCS using snow day; GCA, HCS using at home learning

In anticipation of bad weather, local schools will be closed to in-person learning on Tuesday. Owensboro and Daviess County Public Schools, along with Grace Christian Academy and Heritage Christian School, will be using a non-traditional instruction day. Owensboro Catholic Schools will be using a traditional snow day (meaning no instruction).

Owensboro Public Schools
Due to inclement weather, Owensboro Public Schools will have a NTI day tomorrow, January 31, 2023. Please refer to the link below for NTI expectations for families.

Daviess County Public Schools
Due to inclement weather, Daviess County Public Schools will implement DCPS@Home Day #1 tomorrow, January 31, 2023.

Owensboro Catholic Schools
OCS and the Scrip Office will be closed Tuesday, January 31st.

Tomorrow will be a regular snow day, and students will not be asked to complete any assignments. Any subsequent cancellations will be considered “NTI days.” If you have not done so, please sign up for text alerts through the OCS website (https://owensborocatholic.org/text-alerts/) to ensure that you are notified promptly if a cancellation occurs.

Grace Christian Academy
GCA will not have in-person school on Tuesday, January 31st. High school students will have virtual classes. 

Heritage Christian School
Due to the snow and ice that’s coming down now, HCS will have AT HOME learning tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31. Middle Schoolers will follow the Virtual Schedule.
