The Owensboro Middle School Academic Team won the KAAC District Governor’s Cup competition over the weekend. The Future Problem Solving and Quick Recall teams both claimed first in their division, while more than a dozen individuals placed in the top 5 of their competitions to also advance to the Region 3 Championship in February.
Future Problem Solving team members are: Lucy Doyal, Kinsley Hayden, Claudia Johnson, and Mercy Tanner.
Quick Recall Team members are: Kaleb Horn, Adrion Perez, Amelia Calhoun, Madelyn Haysley, Braxton Archie, Henry Busse, Adam Horton, Connor Dennison, Lane Littlepage, and Dominic Weafer.
